Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

USCIS-Wand ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, safeguard, and allow you to control your personal information when you use our application and services. We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), and all applicable U.S. state and federal privacy laws.

Operating Entity & Data Controller: USCIS-Wand is owned, operated, and provided by Shopper's Spot LLC, a Texas Limited Liability Company (EIN: 92-3650188), registered office at 5488 S Padre Island Dr, Suite R14, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. Shopper's Spot LLC is the sole operating entity, the data controller responsible for your personal information, and the liable party for all privacy matters arising from your use of the Service.

🔒 USCIS Receipt Numbers — PII Summary

USCIS receipt numbers are considered Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This summary explains how USCIS-Wand collects, uses, stores, and protects them:

  • ✓ Collected: Yes. When you add a case to track, we collect the USCIS receipt number you voluntarily enter (e.g., MSC, LIN, WAC, EAC, SRC, NBC prefixes followed by 10 digits).
  • ✓ Used to Query Case Status: Your receipt number is transmitted to the official USCIS Case Status API to retrieve and display real-time case status updates, processing milestones, and estimated timelines. The receipt number is the only field sent to USCIS for this lookup — no other personal data is included in the query.
  • ✓ Stored & Protected: Receipt numbers are stored in our encrypted database, accessible only to the account owner who entered them (enforced via row-level security). All transmissions use 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. USCIS API credentials use secure OAuth 2.0 authentication with secrets stored server-side and never exposed to the client. You may delete your receipt numbers and all associated case data at any time.
